Laura C. Heisey (March 1950—September 2022) Laura Cole Heisey of Tybee Island, Georgia, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 29, 2022 with her husband by her side. Thomas Andrew Myers, 84, died October 8, 2022, with his family by his side. He was born in Thomasville, NC on October 28, 1937, to Mabel Sullivan Myers and Willis Lamberth Myers. Tommy graduated from High Point University, where he was a member of Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity, with a degree in Chemistry. He enjoyed a career at Akzo Nobel, a Universal Chemistry Company for 40 years. Tommy was a patient, kind, courageous and brave man who loved his family and friends.

He relied heavily on his faith to get him through some of his darkest times. He absolutely loved the water-fishing, swimming, crabbing & surfing. He had a passion for sports and loved to play baseball, football, disc-golf, basketball and bull-riding. Mr. John W. Malone, age 80 passed away at home in Savannah, GA on April 8, 2022. John was born in Benton, Arkansas to the late Archie Harris and Annie Sanders Malone.

Tia was the youngest of three sisters, along with Barbara Lamas Chisholm and Mary Lamas Wetherholt. Tia married Eddie Ramsey, Sr. in Savannah, GA in July of 1970. They lived on Charlene Street in Savannah, GA for most of their married life. Tia and Eddie had two children, Lisa Ramsey Fogarty and Edwin Joseph Ramsey, Jr. Tia was a long-standing member of St. Paul’s Greek Orthodox Church. Philip Steven Green, age 72, died September 13, 2022 at his residence, under the care of his wife and Hospice Savannah.

Dr. Celestino Jose Perez Faura, known as “Tito” by friends and family, died peacefully surrounded by his family on June 22, 2022. Growing up in Caguas, Puerto Rico, Tito spent his early years speeding around his neighborhood on his motorcycle. He began swimming at a young age, and at 16 years old Tito swam for Puerto Rico at the 1964 Tokyo Olympics.

She enjoyed cooking for them and all of their friends. Lois was a strong Christian woman who read her bible faithfully. Stanley Eugene Strickland, passed away peacefully at home after a short illness on Sunday May 1, with his loving family by his side.

He was the beloved husband of Clare Scott for almost 40 years. Dwayne was born to Earl and Eva Mary Scott in Cimmaron, New Mexico in 1946. He enlisted in the Navy at the age of 18 and retired as a Senior Chief Petty Officer almost 28 years later.

She was born in Toledo, Ohio to the late Robert and Louise Pfefferle. Mrs. Weaver was a communicant of the Cathedral Basilica of St. John the Baptist. She was a member of The Landings Club, and The Landings Art Association. She enjoyed many years of golf, tennis, and traveling with her husband.

Ralph Rothwell Eddy, age 94 and ½ passed away at his home in Savannah surrounded by his family on Monday, Nov. 7. Ralph was born in Washburn, WI on April 15, 1928 to Ralph Bosley Eddy and his wife Lilly Rebecca Rothwell. He is predeceased by his beloved wife Patricia Anne Cloutier Eddy and his two sisters, Janet Sybil Rosenthal, and Louanne Marjorie Eddy. Irene “Emma” Doyle, 95, passed away peacefully at Candler Hospital on Monday, November 28, 2022.

Phillip Lynnwood Donaldson “Phil” was born September 5, 1933 in Savannah, Georgia, the eldest son of Kermit L. Donaldson and Maude Cowart Donaldson. He attended Savannah High School and the University of Georgia where he received a Bachelor degree in Business Administration.
